  • TRACK 2: Documentary School

    October 1-30, 2025

    One-Month Documentary School: Storytelling, Filming, and Editing

    Come join us for a one-month documentary school set in the peaceful mountains of northern Thailand. This hands-on experience is about more than just filmmaking—it’s about learning, growing, and connecting with a community of like-minded creators.

    Over the month, you’ll:

    Learn Storytelling: Discover how to shape your ideas into compelling, meaningful stories that truly resonate.

    Direct with Purpose: Get practical experience directing your own film, working with real people and real stories.

    Master Filming: Learn the technical skills of shooting—from camera work to lighting and sound—to bring your vision to life.

    Edit with Heart: Turn raw footage into a finished, powerful documentary, learning how to craft your story in the editing room.

    Each day, you’ll also be part of a community that shares daily worship, prayer, and fellowship, all in the inspiring backdrop of the Thai mountains. It’s a chance to grow creatively and spiritually, building deep friendships with fellow filmmakers.

    By the end of the month, you’ll have a completed short documentary and the confidence to keep telling stories that matter. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this course will equip you with everything you need to take your filmmaking to the next level!

  • Track 3: Photojournalism Training and Tour

    November 1-15, 2025

    Photojournalism & Mission Experience: Highlands of Chiang Rai and Laos

    Step into a transformative journey through the highlands of Chiang Rai and northern Laos, where photography and mission work come together uniquely. This experience is for those who want to deepen their skills behind the camera while serving communities with purpose and heart.

    You’ll receive hands-on training in photojournalism, learning how to capture powerful stories—whether it’s the daily life in hill tribe villages, colorful markets, or breathtaking landscapes. But it’s not just about the photos. Along the way, you'll also get involved in mission work, reaching out to local communities, supporting projects that make a real impact, and sharing Christ’s love through action.

    In a small, supportive group, you’ll get personalized coaching from seasoned photographers and missionaries, helping you grow both in your craft and in your faith. It’s a chance to serve, learn, and create lasting connections with people, all while telling stories that matter.

Nestled in the beautiful mountains of northern Thailand, you will find a sacred space called the MediaLight Creativity Center. Here, Christian creatives are equipped to grow in their relationship with God, develop their skills, and build a community.

 At the MediaLight Creativity Center, we offer hands-on training and guidance from experienced instructors dedicated to helping you become the creative individual God has called you to be.

This sanctuary provides the perfect environment to explore your creativity, deepen your faith, and build a creative community. Our programs hosted by the Medialight Team are full of fun, worship times, creativity and friendship.
