Person editing video clip on smartphone. Content creators. Medialight Thailand. Christian online. Online digital ministry. Digital missions.

As we witness the birth of a child, we create a photo and post it to our network of family and friends around the world so they can share the joy with us. We find and perform our jobs online. We apply for loans and build romantic relationships online. We stream our live experiences and visit our sick grandma in another city all online.

This new way of living needs new models of understanding. It’s an untested way of doing life and we need to avoid its dangers. Addiction, anxiety, fueling hostility, being scammed, being manipulated by fake news, having private posts become public, these are just some of the traps we must learn to avoid in our daily living while connected to communication technology.

Online is no longer a pretend form of living. It’s how we live our real lives.
